I was replacing a analog thermostat. The swap was very easy. However I am electronics savey. But I do feel it is a great product.
Had it for over a month now. It works as described. We have a seasonal site for our camper so it’s always set up. It’s so nice to turn the AC on from my phone before we get there. Worth the money to not walk in to a 95* camper that needs cooled down.
The install was pretty simple once I had the right understanding of wiring for the current equipment. I have just a Coleman-Mach AC unit (no heat) on my RV. With the wires, Red, Blue, Gray, Yellow, White and green. The difficulty was matching the existing wire colors to the right port of the new thermostat. The manual helped with identifying what colors did what on the new unit, had to figure out (google) what the old unit was. Overall, easy setup, took about 30 minutes to do. The application works great and easy to use. The Alexa integration is not functioning properly. Within the alexa app, it is showing C instead of F and just doesn't function properly. This is only in the Alexa app. Within the 'SmartLife' app for the thermostat, it works perfectly fine. Very happy with the result and install. If it helps someone, on my Coleman that had those wires above:
Red 12V DC Positive - TO RH
Blue 12V DC Negative - TO C
White Furnace Control (Heat) - TO W1
Yellow Compressor (AC Cooling) - TO Y1
Green High speed fan - TO MULTI
Grey Low speed FAN - TO G
